It was much too cold for Nenet's preference, and despite being bundled from head to toe, she would have committed numerous crimes to get warm again right this instance. Instead she was out in the middle of the Safari Zone searching for Pokemon.

Huffing out a breath of frozen air, her Typhlosion peers at her for a moment before scuttling closer. At least the heat from her flame mantle was keeping the cold somewhat at bay.

Peeking out from the brittle grasses and giving a little shiver to boot, a Tatsugiri watches with a thoughtful look as Nenet and her Typhlosion pass by. Seeming to come to a decision, the sushi-adjacent little dragon hops after the pair.

Typhlosion pauses and waddles back to the shivering Tatsugiri. With a paw extended to lightly pat the pokemon, Typhlosion gives Nenet a hopeful look. With a little snort she tosses a pokeball.

Nenet must admit she's envious the Tatsugiri now gets to enjoy the comforts of a Pokeball while she herself is stuck weathering the cold. Burying her nose in her scarf, she mumbles a quiet, "Let's go," to her Typhlosion and the pair continue their hunt.

She spies a Combee nearby flitting around its hive for a moment, but ultimately moves onwards in search of different Pokemon.

A rather pathetic flopping sound fills the air as Nenet continues her search. It's not long before the source of the noise is revealed: a single golden Magikarp. A quick glance around the area shows no water is in the vicinity, leaving many questions as to how the water-type Pokemon ended up in a snow bank flailing uselessly.

Curled up against the cold and using her tail as a source of warmth, the golden little Charmander huddles against an old stump and remains oblivious to the world around her. It's at that moment Nenet finds the Pokemon with pale blue eyes both wide and tired. Typhlosion slinks forwards and burns brighter, casting a cheery glow that seems to perk up the Charmander.

Nenet tosses a pokeball when the little Charmander finally stands and toddles closer. This weather really needed to break for warmer temperatures.

Unwilling to linger in the cold any longer than she has to, she strides purposefully forwards with Typhlosion in tow.

Twirling out of the grass is a Poltchageist, and Nenet's search comes to an end. The ghost Pokemon gives a little wave, and out of habit Typhlosion waves back. Nenet gives a laugh and after fumbling with her pack for a moment due to the cold, pulls out her final Safari ball and gives it a waggle to get the Poltchageist's attention.
